African Swine Fever Virus Antibody (ASFV Ab) Test Strip is used for detecting African swine fever virus antibodies in pig serum, blood and anticoagulated blood.

Precautions

  • Do not use if the package is damaged or it has exceeded the expiration date.
  • The test strips should not be frozen during storage and transportation, and avoid direct sunlight.
  • Gloves should be worn during operation, and hands should be washed after handling.
  • After the test is completed, the detection cards and other items should be subject to harmless treatment together with the test samples.
  • Before testing, the samples and detection cards should be first restored to room temperature.

Storage

Store in a cool and dry place at 4 - 30℃.

Test Procedure

Usage

Use a disposable dropper to absorb 50µL (about 2 drops) of whole blood, serum or anticoagulated blood samples and slowly add them into the sample buffer. After fully mixing, absorb 100 µL (about 4 drops) and drip it into the sample well. After the sample addition is completed, place the detection card flat on the desktop. Observe the results within 5 - 15 minutes. Results obtained after 20 minutes will be invalid.

Judgment

Positive (+): A band appears at the position of the C line and a band also appears at the position of the T line, indicating that the African Swine Fever Virus antibody is contained in the sample.

Negative (-): A band appears at the position of the C line while no band appears at the position of the T line, indicating that the African Swine Fever Virus antibody is not contained in the sample.

Invalid: No band appears at the position of the C line, indicating that the operation process is incorrect or the test strip has become invalid.
