Product Information(PEDV Antigen Test Strip)

Kit components Volume
Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus Antigen Test Strip (including disposable dropper) 1 strip per bag, 25 bags per box
Sample buffer 1mL per tube, 25 tubes per box
Disposable cotton swabs 25 pieces per box
Instruction Manual 1 copy per box

Test Procedure

Usage (see Figure 1)

1.Use a cotton swab to collect the feces of the pigs to be tested. Immediately insert the sampled cotton swab into the sample buffer solution tube, stir for 10 to 15 seconds and then take it out. After covering the tube cap, turn it over 8 to 10 times and let it stand for 1 minute to allow the undissolved samples to settle. The processed sample is the specimen to be tested. (Note: Excessive sampling amount will affect the stability of colloidal gold particles and is likely to cause false positives. The sample amount should preferably cover 1/3 to 2/3 of the cotton swab tip.)

2.Take out the test card bag and tear it open (use one bag for one sample), take out the test card and place it horizontally on the operating platform (do not pick it up from the platform during the testing process, and it can be picked up only after the testing is completed).

3.Use a dropper to absorb the specimen to be tested, and vertically drip three drops into the sample well of the test card, and then start timing.

4.Read the results within 5 to 10 minutes. Results obtained after 15 minutes are invalid.

Judgment (see Figure 1)

Positive (+): A band appears at the position of the C line and a band also appears at the position of the T line, indicating that the porcine epidemic diarrhea virus antigen is contained in the sample.

Negative (-): A band appears at the position of the C line while no band appears at the position of the T line, indicating that the porcine epidemic diarrhea virus antigen is not contained in the sample.

Invalid: No band appears at the position of the C line, indicating that the operation process is incorrect or the test strip has become invalid.
